Growing Between Runs

Every run moves a gardener forward. See the Root Garden for the talents.

Talent point

Hero Rank and talents

  • Hero Rank 1-50 for each gardener; a talent point at rank 1 and every rank up to 30.
  • Hero XP comes from the map, not from kills: 30 per plot cleared, +90 per boss, +100 for saving the garden.
  • The Blight adds 4% XP per modifier, up to +20%. The Daily Garden uses a loaner gardener and pays no XP.
  • Keystones open at rank 5; one keystone is active at a time.
  • Respec is free between runs. 2 saved builds are free, more up to 6 in the Home Garden.
  • Hardcore (in development): a new gardener after a fallen one earns triple XP up to the old best rank (at most 20).
